Company Gift Matching and Giving Support
Employers often provide various ways to support employee giving, such as by matching employee donations or setting aside a certain amount of funding that the employee can direct as they like. Consider reaching out to your employer to ask what giving support they offer, and you can magnify your impact on the lives of NC4K Families!
Community Fundraisers
Love to bake? Have an annual company golf outing? Need a beneficiary for a school event? It’s easier than you may think to create a large, meaningful impact for NC4K Families. All it takes is a little teamwork! Team up with your friends, your parent-teacher association, or your work space to host a third-party fundraiser in support of childhood cancer families.
The Reynoldsburg Eagles Club hosted a memorial golf outing, with ticket purchases and auction proceeds benefiting NC4K.
One of our Champion Partners, Young + Wild Balloon Co., transformed their annual birthday bash into a Golden Gala to benefit NC4K.
Kanda, an NC4K Mom, hosts an annual “Mom Prom” to raise money for NC4K, complete with music, drinks, and auction items!
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows you to manage all your donations in one place and support multiple organizations over time by requesting grants. When you contribute to a DAF, you receive an immediate tax deduction and can donate appreciated assets without incurring capital gains taxes. Consider talking to your financial planner about how you can collaborate with a DAF to make a difference.

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA to a qualified charity. QCDs are available to individuals aged 70 1/2 or older and allow you to donate up to $105,000 annually, tax-free. One of the key benefits of a QCD is that the amount transferred counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) if you’re at least 73 years old, potentially reducing your taxable income for the year. Consider talking to your financial planner about your Qualified Charitable Distributions this year.
Planned Giving
Choosing to leave a planned gift is a deeply personal and impactful way to support families navigating a childhood cancer diagnosis. If you or a loved one are considering including a planned gift in your estate plans, we encourage you to contact Mandy Powell, Executive Director, at mandy@nc4k.org or (614) 300-3995. We would be honored to work with you to create a thoughtful and collaborative process that aligns with the legacy you wish to leave.
